They are members of a select group: those who lived through the end of the silent movie era, the stock market collapse of 1929, the Great Depression, World War II, the birth of rock and roll, the Cold War, mankind’s first steps on the moon, the first home computers, the rise of the internet and much, much more.
“And it was this man,” she said, pointing to Kay Campbell, the handsome gray-haired man next to her. “And he’s been with me ever since.”
The Palms at Ponte Vedra assisted living and memory care community hosted a Thanksgiving luncheon for residents and their families Thursday, Nov. 21.
Mothers at the Palms at Ponte Vedra enjoyed a Mother’s Day Tea with their daughters and granddaughters on Friday, May 10.
